Termites Turn Up Sack of Stolen Mail Under Church
In Cleveland Mississippi workers inspecting St Pauls Baptist Church for termites found a sack containing 45 pieces of U S mail including a $3 171 check. Postal authorities say the letters were apparently stolen last May and discovered beneath the church yesterday.

Deaths of Harold T. Duell and Mrs. Nichols in Erie area
Obituaries report the deaths of Mrs. Nichols of 724 East 23rd Street Erie at 11 a.m. yesterday at St Vincent’s Hospital aged 76 with extensive survivors across several states and a life in the Corry area. Harold T. Duell of 827 North Center Street Erie died at Corry Memorial Hospital at 41 after a long illness. he served in the Army and worked at GE, Marathon Electric, Sylvania, and Keystone Co op, leaving a wife Mamie and a daughter Robin Suzanne. Burial arrangements are set with Bracken Funeral Home and Pine Grove Cemetery Elgin.
