To Appeal Court Ruling On Beer Sales In Pa
In Pottsville Pennsylvania two Schuylkill County beer distributors plan to appeal a Commonwealth Court ruling that tightens territorial limits on wholesale beer. They were cited by the Liquor Control Board for buying from an importer in Schuylkill and selling in Dauphin, violating designated territories. The court barred secondary distributors from crossing territorial lines. Attorney George Lindsay said he will seek higher court review and may pursue federal courts if the appeal fails.
