County Bill Proposes Erie County Manager Role
Erie County commissioners would be authorized to create a county manager office in a bill targeting third class counties like Erie. The administrator would be appointed by the commissioners, with powers and duties set by ordinance, and could receive delegated non legislative tasks subject to recall. The manager must post bond.
