Chat J. Chancel of Trottod City Pennsylvania was convicted on embracery and conspiracy charges. Judge Thomas P Bailey sentenced him to one year in the Allegheny county workhouse, with sentences to run concurrently if he refuses to name alleged higherups in the bombing case. The trial lasted only a few hours and the defendant did not disclose any identities.
