Sealed Proposals for City Park Fountain Bid In Corry
Sealed proposals for constructing the City Park Fountain known as City Park Mountain will be received in Corry Pennsylvania until 5 p.m. Monday May 5 1924. Bids must be in a sealed envelope with bidder name and address, include a certified check of 100 dollars, and be addressed to the City Clerk marked for City Park Fountain. Plans are on file with the City Engineer in the Municipal Building. The city reserves the right to reject all bids.

Thick steel doors thwart bank robbers in Conewanga Valley
The First National Bank vault doors stopped a Tuesday morning bank robbery attempt. A large hole burned in the outer door and an explosive charge detonated, but no suspects or descriptions were obtained. Robbers fled after leaving burnt tools and acetylene tanks stolen from Cousins and Sons. Cash and negotiable papers worth thousands were left inside.

Det Allison holds evidence linking Boehar to a crime of much graver character and extradition papers are being sought in Olean for possible sensational developments.
