Six Killed As Plane Slams Into House
A light private Beechcraft Bonanza crashed into a corner of a residence in Austin Texas during approach, killing six aboard and two in the home. Among the dead were Dr. Robert G. Farris and Dr. B. E. Becker Jr., neurosurgeons, and Dr. Farris’s wife and two daughters. a medical student from Galveston and the Bobbitts’ infant survived. A passerby helped carry out Mrs. Bobbitt after suffering minor burns.
