The Corry Woman's Club held its annual banquet in the form of an Uren dinner with eighty members present. Miss Mary St. Clair chaired the event assisted by Mrs. H. H. Keppel and Mrs. Foster Davis. President Mrs. B. S. Austin opened reports, announced officers for the coming year, and Mrs. Dawson Olmstead was named delegate to the General Federation biennial in Seattle. The Dramatic Department provided entertainment with a capsule wedding scene and multiple club members in roles, set by Mrs. Guy Abbey.

Body of plane crash victim recovered in Ohio
In Steubenville Ohio April 24 the body of Dr Chrol 8 Cole a St. Louis physician who died in a March 31 plane crash with Pilot Harold Georgi was recovered from the Obfe river by Arch Bor man a dam attendant. The body stripped of most clothing was found near a government boat and identified from a description provided by Dr Bl Skkin ner of Fanaa city who joined the search before it was abandoned.
