Penn State Wins American Cancer Society Grant for Enzyme Research
The American Cancer Society awarded Penn State a $4,000 grant for a year starting July 1 to study viscosity effects on enzyme reactions in blood cells. Dr Eugene Ackerman will lead basic studies of cell catalysts to illuminate growth processes. Dr Milton S Eisenhower accepted the grant on behalf of the university.
