The Corry Business and Professional Women's Club hosted District 1 spring meetings at the Moose Lodge with 160 attendees from Titusville, Meadville, Erie, Bradford, Cochranton, Franklin, Girard, Mercer, Shenango Valley, Greenville, Youngsville, Warren, Oil City, Kane and Corry. The Beaverdam 4 H Club held its second meeting at Wayne Valley Church. Officers elected for the coming year were Sally Sanford president Douglas King vice president Laurie Walsh secretary and treasurer and Cheryl Young news reporter. The next session is set for April 25 at 7 30 p.m. at Wayne Valley Church.

Mr and Mrs Ross Hazel Feldman of 934 North Center street celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. A reception and open house will be held Sunday April 26 from 2 to 5 pm in the First United Presbyterian Church social rooms. They wed April 21, 1920 in Warren. They have a daughter Courtney Fargo and four grandchildren Hollace Lisa Kirsten and Ross Fargo.

Moose Women Donate To Fund For Nurse Scholarship
The Women of the Moose met and voted a donation to the Stanford Hose Memorial Fund for families of Easter Sunday fire victims. Tag days are planned May 1 and 2 to add to the nurse's scholarship fund. Contact senior regent Erskin or Mrs. Fawcett for details. The Academy of Friendship session will be held in Erie at Gannon Auditorium on Sunday, May 3.
