Now I am well and strong promises from a tonic ad

A dated health advertisement urges readers not to let ill health continue and promotes Gude's Pepto Mangan as a restorative tonic. It claims the product builds strength, improves vitality, aids sleep, and has been used for thirty years. It stresses taking the remedy with meals and urges immediate use rather than leaving it on the druggist shelf.
