Erie County District Attorney Herbert Johnson told the Itanning Invants Club that the Pennsylvania Pardons Board “apparently does not consider bribery a very serious offense.” He cited the Erie bribery scandal, noting 35 of 36 convicts did not serve minimum terms and lamenting soft pardons while urging citizens and lawmakers to demand accountability. Modern airliners require nearly 30 miles of reserved airspace for instrument flight safety.
