Oil City housecleaner admits to $800 in thefts
Robert Paloan of this city was taken into custody after police reported two recent home thefts. He allegedly stole about $800 from Washington Street homes and a purse containing $55, plus $640 from a strong box in the home of Mrs. R. J. Sweeney. Police say the charges arise from a several day spree while he was employed as a house cleaner. The case was to be presented to the district attorney for formal charges.
