Alathian Rally Marks Neighborly Gathering in Church Parlors
Over one hundred Alathians gathered yesterday afternoon at Lie Methodist Episcopal church parlors for a community rally. Rev. Frank Winer led devotions and a brief business session followed a varied program arranged by Mrs. Bari Live with piano solos, vocal selections, cornet pieces, readings, and a vocal duet. Lunch was served in the dining room with a yellow and white decorating theme. Mrs. O. I. Rabbit was committee chairwoman. The event was described as a delightful and successful gathering.

Authorities name defendants in fatal accident suit
Istates troopers are named in a big suit filed in today's court before Justice Jipense MacGregor. Jennig M. Peterson of Allegany is named as administratrix for the decedent with Peterson’s mother. Sergeants Richard L. Givhons and David Wade are named with Randolph hot, Dr. Joseph M. Trotter formerly of Little Valley is cited for damages. Dr. Trotter has been served with summons. Arthur R. Can Iey of Buffalo testified about the incident. Major Patrick J. Ohi, deputy attorney general, represents the troopers. Attorney A. Edward Krieg of counsel and Henry P. Nevins of Cheyenne are attorneys for Mrs. Peterson.
