Four day Emerald Seas cruise links Florida trip for Corry trio
A four day cruise aboard the Emerald Seas from Miami to Nassau capped a three week Florida vacation for Ruth Miller of Corry Kathryn Davin of North East and Bedeklin Piadt of Exe. They toured Florida including St. Petersburg visiting relatives in Atlanta before returning home this week. Penny Sue Damon, daughter of Donald Damon of Corry, earns Dean's List honors at Jamestown Community College. Corry Ettes director Tim Leake notes a practice session and upcoming event. Club 99 members meet at the home of Thelma Yerkey in Waterford with guests from Wattsburg Union City and Corry. A get well card is sent to Mrs. June Giestaen. Easter decorations and desserts marked the gathering. The next meeting is set for May 1 at Nichols’ home in Wattsburg. Elizabeth Circle of First United Methodist meets with guests and Easter devotions followed by committee work. Miss Carolyn L. Danforth was appointed assistant extension agent on the Pennsylvania State University's Cooperative Extension staff. Danforth, a Chardon Ohio native, earned a BS from Michigan State University in 1975 in recreation and youth leadership.
