FFA students honored as REA head outlines farming challenge

William Matson of Pennsylvania Rural Electric Associations addressed about 150 at Corry Area High School, urging stronger laws and farm leadership. Two Girls Nabbed For Bomb Hoax In Pennsylvania

Two 14 year old girls from Tionesta were arrested by state police for making a bomb scare call to West Forest High School last Friday. A 19 year old local man was initially questioned but cleared. the girls admitted involvement and were released to their parents. Police will seek juvenile disposition. The school had previously received a bomb scare on March 27. Later, housing official Daniel Rogers was named chair of a 12 member planning group to propose better housing strategies in Pennsylvania.
