The Woman's Civic Improvement League elected officers for the coming year led by Miss M. Lena Mather and several longtime members. Pittsburgh Steel reports strong first quarter earnings
Pittsburgh Steel Co. posted net earnings of 909 741 and 42 cents a share for the first quarter of 1955. The quarterly report says it shipped more finished steel products in the past three months than in any prior period in its history.
