Indians Seek Five Man Swap To Boost Marsh
Cleveland Indians weighing a five man trade to free up an infield spot and retain Pred Marsh. If Berardino is involved, roster depth improves but another starter leaves, drawing Pirates, Phillies and Cubs into hot talks. Philadelphia plans to fill Frankie Gustine’s vacated spot with Tobin or Castiglione, while Lohrke and Lowrey trades surface. Odds and ends note heavy spring fishing, and Indians tickets go on sale for home games through May 8 with early plans to Detroit and Boston series.
