April 12 New York a remarkable transfusion union joined by George Allen Van Grone and Mrs Rose Reisler to donate two quarts of blood for Hemorrhagia Purpura patients. The hour long operation ended with both volunteers reported well. many applicants sought payment for the blood with only half the requested amount collected.
