Geneva April 11 Britain rejected France's proposal for limitation of naval armament as a practical disarmament plan. Viscount Cecil said the English position favors class by class limits with transfer rights, while France insisted on total tonnage limits and strict transfer restrictions. French spokesman Boncour argued that France cannot concede more and stressed parliamentary authorization limits.
Collector Gordon announced a renewed drive on tax delinquents in Wade county, aiming to collect about $5500 in uncollected 1926 school taxes.
