10-Cent Holdup Nets Man Six Months In Jail
Theodore Nolan Jr. stabbed a 17-year-old Erie boy on March 15 to steal 10 cents, then fled. He received six months to a year in Allegheny Workhouse and a $25 fine from Judge Elmer L. Evans. No second charge of assault and battery was pursued. Nolan, then residing at City Mission, stabbed Ronald Thomas of Harborcreek with a pen knife in a parking lot beside the mission. He had prior ties to Ardara, Pa.
