Sixteen Hurt In New Haven Train Wreck
A passenger train on the New York Avon and Hastford Railroad derailed near Merion Blaine about four miles from Waterbury en route to New Haven. Nineteen injured, many seriously, as engine lifted and carriages left the track. Passengers thrown about interior, with cuts and bruises reported. several cars partly derailed but no cars remained on the rails.

Mangled Body Found on Tracks in Allegany County
The well mangled corpse of a man was found on the railroad tracks between Inchita and Franklinville near Fire Crowns. The remains were discovered yesterday morning by milk train crew from Olean. Coroner J Randall of Franklinville attended, and the body was removed to Van Ness undertaking in Franklinville. Identity was learned later as Arthur H. Moyer of Five Mile Road, about six miles from Allegany.

Body of Missing Man Found at Power Plant Wheel
A decomposed body was found yesterday in the water near the large water wheel at the Datustrom Metaille Boat Company plant in Tamestown. George H. Warren of 109 Cowing Street has been missing since Sunday morning April 20, and authorities are unsure if accidental drowning is the cause. The body was moved to the morgue at Hen Meéraon and Lincoln, 421 Mart Second Street, after Coroner Bergen Fillington ordered removal.
