Syracuse April 1 Allomwys Tot the Empire Railways obtained an injunction restraining New York State Railways from blocking Empire line cars inside the city limits. Empire officials threaten to run into Auburn today amid tensions with the Amalgamated Association of Street Railways. State Railway officers moved trolley and feed wires to block Auburn Interurban from entering the city. Judge Tasting Andrews ordered immediate restoration of the wires. Auburn buzzed with activity as Empire United Railways plans to start cars tomorrow, while unions warn of a possible strike but deny agreeing to halt operations. City leaders offer help, but strikers vow no violence as pickets appear citywide.
