United Press reports Hudson Motor Car Company halted all production at its Detroit plants today due to a parts shortage from the Motor Products Corporation. about 18,000 workers were left temporarily idle amid exhausted inventories and a 5,000 idle at Motor Products. Bellefonte, Pa April. Richard Bach, a Philadelphia youth known as a convicted slayer of Rose McCloskey, was executed at Rockview Penitentiary at 7:01. He died after a rock was used in the final act, declining to make a final statement. Bach faced appeals to commute to life, which failed before Governor Pinchot and the pardon board. The case, tied to the 1843 murder in Fairmount Park, went through the state supreme court without relief.
