Hospital Auxiliary hears about Erie Eye Bank program
Representatives William Rudolph and Harold Brunner presented a program at the Corry Memorial Hospital April meeting. They showed a film A Boy With A Blindfold and explained Eye Bank work including corneal transplants and vitreous implants. Brochures and donor cards were made available at the hospital volunteer desk. The group observed a moment of silent prayer for Easter fire victims and discussed disaster drill plans. New member Mrs. Mary Schreckengost joined. Donations from a card party and Candy Stripers raised 540.05 for hospital equipment memorials. Plans for upcoming tag days and nominations were announced, with regional and national hospital auxiliary events noted in Erie and Atlantic City.
