200 Day Workhouse Term for Local Driver
At a court session Judge D U Arird presided. Himer Heklund received 200 days in the Allegheny County Workhouse for driving while intoxicated. Beklund, operator in a fatal Jackson Run Highway accident, was noted. Clark Brooks and Robert Sweetland received jail or workhouse terms for liquor offenses. Two major civil rulings followed in the Moody and Foster cases.
