Hall of Fame Biopic The Invincible Mr Disraeli Review
NBC telecast The Invincible Mr Disraeli portrayed Disraeli and Victoria in vignettes focusing on marriage, rise to power, and a 20 million pound loan. Trevor Howard and Greer Garson deliver strong performances, but the program feels talky and static despite fine color and settings. The week’s big TV event contrasts with Masters golf coverage and other weekend offerings.
