Spring Creek Woman Dead In Spring Creek Township
May Dewitt Patchen of Jackson Hill Spring Creek Township died Saturday evening at her home after a brief illness. She was a well known resident of the vicinity and city. The funeral will be held Tuesday at eleven from the home with interment at Spring Creek.

Nine Die in Burned Mississippi Bridge Work Disaster

Body of Wm Baer Found in Ohio River
The body of W T S Baer, prominent Odd Fellow from Ishows town Greenville, was recovered from the Ohio river at Rochester Pa. Identification was made by gold fillings in the mouth and a gold crown on an eye tooth. Baer had been missing since March 12 and was last seen on a Beamer train toward Erie. Greenville Mayor Guy Thorme offered a $100 reward for information. The cause of death remains a mystery.

Arrest of young woman in bank thefts in Salem
Salem reports the arrest of Mrs Wise Carroll, 20, accused by police as wife and accomplice of Frank Wilson in the Union National Bank of Altooma hold up last week. The clerk and cashier were spotted and three thousand dollars taken. The magistrate later captured the suspect. authorities plan to take her to Altooma.

Seniors Plan Friday Morning Trip to Washington
