Coast Guards pushed a boat over ice and water of Lake Erie to save seven fishermen marooned more than two hours on floes split by rain. Five men were rescued from a large ice floe opposite the state milk plant in Wahakah, others at Sturgeon Point. Coast Guard Captain John J. Daly warned fishermen to stay off the ice as warm weather and rain loosen the breakup. Remaining text lists local names and visits in Corry and nearby areas.
