Kersey Man Killed by Rock Fall at Limestone Mine
Harry Creer 60 of Kersey died at Toby Wiley limestone mine near Kersey after a rock collapse. His son Dale escaped unhurt as workers freed him from beneath debris. Coroner ruled no inquest. body taken to Carbe parlors in Kersey.

Erie Slayer Is Held For Court
In Erie on April 3 Anthony Wieczorkowski, 20, of 598 East 14th Street, was held for court after confessing to the murder of Sally Mobuck, 22, of Mt Wasbel. The body, recovered from Presque Bay, was badly decomposed, leaving uncertainty about the cause of death. The confession stated he strangled Mobuck for ten minutes and dumped the body in the bay chained to a weight. Pathologist Dr. L Armstrong testified the autopsy could not determine the exact cause of death.
