Two Youths Sentenced to Auburn Prison for Robbery
In April at Mayville county court two youths, Robert ONeal aged 26 and Edmond Weight 25, were found guilty of robbery and sentenced to Auburn State Prison. Each faces 20 to 40 years, Wright potentially 30 more. They confessed after lengthy hardship journeys from Buffalo to Dunkirk and Cleveland, stealing a revolver during a break in at a Dunkirk sporting goods store. Their crime followed a life of poverty and failed attempts at honest work.
