A large audience braved bad weather to hear Evan Hodge preach at the Indoor Camp Meeting last evening. The sermon centered on St. John while urging faithful living and joyful religion through Jesus Christ.
A Chinese couple, Jen Hon Yee and Ngo Quoang Ho, quarrelled over a note during a missionary meeting. Ho fatally attacked Yee with an axe, later confessing to an attorney and police. Yee was found dead on a bed with the skull cleaved.
