Madison Wis April 1 The wet minority in the Wisconsin Senate conceded defeat on two Gettelman dry law amendment bills. The first bill was sent back to committee without a hearing. The second bill seeks a memorial resolution asking Congress to modify the Volstead Act. A veteran committee member noted the bill failed again as Wisconsin and Nevada are the only states to memorialize Congress on Prohibition modification.
