J A Robinson postponed the sale of polished Poliad Chinas and Shorthorn calves to February 10 due to weather. Last Saturday a large crowd at the south livery barn saw 47 hogs auctioned at an average around 34 dollars per head, with C Ho Johnson and son-in-law selling ten head for over 36 dollars each. total bids surpassed 1,890 dollars. Purchasers listed with post office correctionsville area include Roy Chamberham, Theodore Frank Anthon, Jens Paulsen Anthon, H J Stewart Cushing, Thomas Frazier, William Herbold, PB Stauffer and others in numbered lots.
