Morena Ferry Ends San Diego Bay Service for Mexican Run

The paddle-wheeler Morena, long a Coronado and San Diego ferry from 1920 to the 1930s, sailed last week to San Quintin Baja California to be converted into a supply ship. At 156 feet long with a 58 foot beam it carried about 40 automobiles on the Coronado San Diego run.

Furlow Real Estate Expands with New Coronado Office

Furlow and Associates of San Diego opened a Coronado branch at 1311 Orange Avenue with Commodore Cortlandt C. Baughman in charge. The firm already runs offices in San Diego and La Mesa. Coronado now hosts 12 real estate offices employing over 40 brokers and salesmen.
