Mrs. William L. Chadwick of 4548 Cherokee Avenue San Diego sent The Compass a photo of an old milk-wagon mail truck used in Coronado 34 years ago. The entry recalls the wagon as a joy for Coronado’s youth and notes Chadwick as Coronado’s second carrier.

James A Irwin of 810 Glorietta Blvd will speak at the Pan American League noon luncheon at the San Diego Women's Clubhouse on February 17. His travelogue on Central and South America will be shown with pictures after a 12 000 mile air journey. Mrs Leslie E Cridge is league president and Coronado resident. Mrs Harold A Swan will present music at the program.
