Funeral Held in San Bernardino for Hugh Bissell

The funeral for Hugh Bissell who died Monday in the center was held in San Bernardino this afternoon. The body was laid to rest in the city under Masonic auspices after being brought from the center with the widow and her brother Everett Ballard. Attending were Mr and Mrs Jeff Cratford Mr and Mrs Otis Ballard Arthur Larrabee and Harry Lyman representing the Masonic order. J F Ballard Mrs Chalfant and Mrs A I Handley of Long Beach were also present. The deceased, well known here, died after two operations failed to save him. The family has the community's sympathy in the bereavement.
