Harvest Dance Opens Season at Corona Country Club

The Corona Country club hosted its second annual Harvest Dance at the club house on West Olive and Vicentia streets. About thirty couples attended including guests from Riverside and Los Angeles. Music by Mrs. A W Bates piano Mrs O W Rife violin and Jas G Bennett drums. French marigolds adorned the venue and punch was served as couples danced into midnight.

Retains Attorney to Get Out of Post Office

Joe Colton Utah Oct 24 Lyman Marble merchant and postmaster here has retained an attorney to be released from his official position. His term expired over a year ago but the government has failed to appoint a successor or to release him or his bondsmen. Marble says parcel post growth has caused serious losses and he has placed his own goods outside his store to free space for mail matter.
