The Corona Tennis Club at Highth and the Boulevard hosted a Thanksgiving weekend tournament with finals in three events postponed to Saturday. Miss Marjorie Wyatt defeated Mrs. George Van Kirk 6-4 2-6 6-2 to win the ladies singles as men’s doubles mixed doubles and men’s singles finals were set for Saturday afternoon. Weather was ideal and crowds packed the bleachers as play continued from 7:30 a.m. to dusk.
