Ford Man Returns From Pleasant Trip
R M Crenshaw of the Whiten and Crenshaw firm, a Ford agency representative, returns from a 1325 mile motor trip to San Francisco and intermediate points at a cost of about 9.95 dollars for gas and oil. The journey included the Newhall tunnel to Saugus via Elizabeth Lake, with travels through Mojave desert and stops at Willow Springs Bakersfield Tulare Lindsay and Modesto. He and his family visited the Exposition in San Francisco where admissions are about 25 cents. He notes large daily paid attendance and that the trip allows him to vote on Tuesday’s election.
