Handsome new Methodist building dedicated in city
A rousing Sunday dedication celebrates a 700 seat Gothic addition to the Methodist church costing 12000 with 6000 debt paid and 1000 extra added to the treasury. Architects Normal F. Marsh and local contractors oversaw the project. The day featured Bishop Hughes and Rev. Holden with multiple services and a 300 plus member congregation.

Marshal Lyman Arrests Mexican Horse Thief
Marshal Lyman pursued Gregorio Palomares long sought for stealing a brown mare from Olive on February 8 in Santa Ana. Palomares was traced to the cholo colony and arrested Sunday evening. He was jailed, then Sheriff Lacy collected him to return to Orange County for trial.
