The bride is sister of C S Laster, Santa Fe depot cashier. the groom has held posts with major arts and education institutions and taught at several universities.
A downtown department store detective recalls watching a woman’s odd behavior as she moved through a police court awaiting her case. The witness describes the sequence from a brief encounter to the suspect boarding an elevator, noting odd phrases and alleged attempts to secure work paths.
A wedding at 501 Mervill street united Miss Inez Kirby and Frank B. Ware of Elsinore with Dr. J. F. Humphrey officiating. Attendants were Miss Alee Kirby and Charles Ware, with Invircio Ware as ring bearer. The couple planned to reside in Elsinore after July first, with a honeymoon to Long Beach and San Diego.

Bicknell Young of Boston will lecture on Christian Science at the Woman's Improvement Club clubhouse on Tuesday evening June 22 at 8 o'clock. Admission is free and everybody is welcome.
