At a general conference in city hall, trustees and Chamber of Commerce leaders unanimously urged bonds for city improvements. The road fund was reduced by 4000 to 96000 and the city hall fund increased to 25000. Public support for an early election to approve the measures is strong.
Supervisor Hamner met with Santa Ana Valley Irrigation directors to discuss altering the Prado exit route. The plan would consolidate two roads into a single road for about three quarters of a mile, with a detour left of the Pomona road near the Santa Fe crossing west of Prado.
