Gas Company Seeks Bonds in Second Rail Commission Appeal
Citrus Belt Gas seeks authority to issue 475000 in bonds to cover outstanding obligations totaling 267000. Commissioner Gordon will hear the case in San Bernardino on August 12 after a prior denial that allowed 84000 in bonds and 200000 in stock. The firm operates plants in Redlands Colton and Corona and profits from them. The Gardiner merger drives the large debt and aims to protect creditors and investors holding original stock.
