The note adds that elk tusks are unlikely to become scarce or expensive, a positive for lodges. A health product named Kodal is recommended to aid digestion and stomach disorders with ongoing use.
Notice of sale for delinquent Main Street improvement bond in Corona California. City Treasurer MERRIAM will auction the described Lot 6, Block 144 at 10:00 a.m. July 30 1908 if the $119.35 due (principal 108.66 plus interest 10.70) and publication costs are unpaid. Publication in The Corona Independent.
The Board of Trustees of Corona declares its intention to improve a portion of Grand Boulevard and to issue bonds to cover the cost. The resolution outlines the project and financing plans for the municipal improvement.

During 1812 to 1814 Portland bankers hid thousands of dollars in the Marrett house parlor Standish village with a heavy locked door and reinforced floor. A single guard protected the state treasure transported on a six ox cart from Portland to Standish for two years. The house remains in Marrett descendants hands. Bert Barber of Elton Wisconsin touts kidney and bladder pills sold by Dr. F. Billings as his remedy.
