Mr F C Vejar of Pomona owns farming land near Corona and has leased 45 acres of the Yorba Ranch to Homer Payton who takes immediate possession. The property was previously part of the Milholland tract now moved to the Imperial Valley. Lake's calico and outing trappers at I A Newtons are also mentioned.
Notice of a special meeting of the stockholders of The Corona Home Telephone and Telegraph Company at the company office in Corona California on Monday March 30 at 2 0 o clock p m. Mrs. Alice J. Bowen died January 18, 1908 at Arlington Hospital from Arcainie poison after an operation on January 14. She leaves two children, her mother, sister and brother, and many relatives. Funeral held January 19 at the Corona Methodist Church with large attendance and floral tributes. A. E. R.
