Carranza officials say eighteen alleged bandits executed at Chihuahua confessed Villa was near the slaughter but not present. they claim to be his men. About 400 malcontents near Torreon call for Diaz and Carrancistas, threatening Americans and property. In Veleidena, 130 Carranza soldiers who surrendered were killed, the guns turned over to the malcontents.
