Blind Pig Raid Nets Whisky and Beer Evidence
Deputies led by Marshal Lyman swarmed a Ninth and Merrill blind pig arresting proprietors C Hanna and L Peterson. Four barrels of beer and multiple measurements of whisky were seized. Bail was set at 500 but cut to 300. the men remained in jail awaiting a preliminary hearing tomorrow at ten.

Mrs Flora Gleason Dies at Corona Home
Mrs Flora Gleason widow of Dr V A Gleason died suddenly at her Corona home at eleven this morning from rheumatic heart disease. She had poor health for two weeks with pains in arms hands eyes and suffered fainting spells Wednesday and yesterday. Funeral Sunday at two at the East Sixth street residence conducted by Rev Jacques Baptist pastor. Only surviving relative is W A Gleason brother.
