A collage of old newspaper snippets includes a quarrel at a sewing party over a fight claim by Willie, a joke about marriage in heaven, Bakersfield potato farmer George Peters dubbed the potato king with 865 acres worth 38250 dollars, and scenes with Dinah and a Sunday school lesson ending in a sharp pun about eating and drinking.
At one week the average infant needs five ounces of milk daily, diluted with ten ounces of water. Add one and one half level tablespoons of sugar and one ounce of tea water. Feed seven times daily. Increase milk by a half ounce about every four days and water by a half ounce about every eight days.
Dr Chas. Aked, the noted Congregational pastor from San Francisco, has accepted a car from the Riverside church denomination. He is expected to come to our neighboring city on April 1 and stay until October 1, possibly longer.
