The Riverside County Chamber of Commerce held a Tuesday session at the Banning club house despite rain. President T C Jameson led a fairly well attended meeting with telegram responses urging farm school and farm-related legislation. A three member committee would pursue Sacramento lobbying for the farm school bill and state road aid from Mecca to Blythe. The afternoon visitors drive was canceled due to rain and 200 people attended an evening banquet followed by H Grubb delivering an educational talk on ponds.
