Mother Monument Day Observed at Local High School

Death of Mrs. Davis in San Diego Reverberates in City

Mrs. Chester W. Davis sister of Mrs. George N. Baer of this city died suddenly in San Diego on February 13. The remains were brought to this city and funeral services were held at the Baer home with Rev. J. W. Utter presiding. Interment was at Sunnyslope cemetery. Mary Ellen Zintz Davis, born December 20 1852 in Pennsylvania, married February 22 1876. She is survived by two children four sisters and four brothers. widowed since ten months. She was a Methodist. She had wintered in California and planned to return.
